The Advocates for the Coton de Tulear are now accepting donations to be used in our efforts to protect and preserve the Coton de Tulear from recognition by the American Kennel Club. These funds will be applied towards public relations expenses and legal advisory services, as well as any other corporate expenses associated with furthering our cause. - The Advocates for the Coton de Tulear ("ACT") is a group of dedicated Coton de Tulear owners & fanciers. We are committed to the health, welfare & preservation of the breed while focusing our efforts on protecting the Coton de Tulear from further exploitation in puppy mills. We are vehemently opposed to AKC recognition of the Coton de Tulear, as past history has shown a direct correlation between large numbers of rescue animals and AKC registrations.
